- Sow seeds in March.
- Sow seeds 1–2 mm deep in trays or modules and keep the soil moist.
- Germination will occur in 14–21 days.
- Transfer single seedlings to individual small pots when they can be handled.
- Maintain a temperature of 15-18c to prevent bolting.
- Harden off young plants before transplanting in May.
- Space plants 30-40 cm apart.
