Cauliflower ‘Baby’ F1

Cauliflower ‘Baby F1’ is a fast-maturing F1 variety bred for its compact size, making it one of the smallest cauliflowers. It is ideal for growing in small pots, gardens, or balconies, with the plants produce small, tender curds along with crisp, edible leaves that are perfect for cooking or stir-frying.

  1. Sow the seeds in a propagator and cover with approximately 6mm of compost.
  2. Place in a warm, bright position such as a windowsill at 18-21c.
  3. Seeds will germinate in 10-14 days.
  4. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into individual pots and grow on in a warm, light position.
  5. After the last frost, plant out in well-prepared soil enriched with manure from the previous autumn.
  6. Space plants 60cm apart or grow in large containers filled with good-quality compost.
