Cabbage – Rovite
Cabbage Rovite is a popular red cabbage which is known for its robust flavour and produces large, dense heads. This variety is good for soil which is less fertile, or which has drier conditions. Suitable for both 1kg and 3kg head production.

- Can be sown thinly in trays (Mar – Apr) or direct to prepared seed drills as soon as the soil has warmed.
- When seedlings are 2 inch tall thin / transplant to one plant every 18-24 inches and water in well.
- Plant in a sunny location where no cabbage was grown the year before.
- Keep weed free, moist and protect against pests (especially Pigeons over-winter)
