Cultivation advice 5 Herb Disc Collection – Seed Tape 

Chives – One of the most popular culinary herbs with narrow, grass-like leaves giving a  mild onion-like flavour.

Mint Egyptian – This variety is a popular for its distinct, refreshing aroma and flavour. It is sweeter and more flavourful than other varieties

Coriander – This is a versatile herb that’s used in various cuisines globally. It’s known for its refreshing, citrusy flavour and distinctive aroma.

Parsley Italian Giant – A popular herb, known for its unique and vibrant flavour and rich, aromatic taste.

Basil Genovese – The classic large-leaved Italian sweet basil, prized for its spicy flavour and wonderful aroma.

  • ·     Place the disc on top of the damp soil
  •       Cover very thinly with soil, water lightly, mark with a label and ensure the soil is kept moist.
  •       The seed is pre-spaced on the tape; however, you may need to do a small amount of thinning as they develop.
  •       Seed discs are the easiest way to sow herbs, the seeds have been incorporated in a bio-degradable paper tape which ensures the correct   spacing and minimises the need for thinning. The seeds simply germinate through the disc in position.
