Broccoli Purple Early Sprouting new. An extremely easy to grow hardy winter vegetable which crops when little else is available in the garden. Sturdy 12-18in plants produce a heavy crop of tasty purple heads and young leaves (which turn green when cooked) during late winter/early Spring. These should crop through to mid-April, freeing the ground for spring crops. (2000 Seeds per pack)

Squash Butternut Hunter F1. Bred specifically for the UK / Northern European climate this variety delivers outstanding crops over a variety of UK summer conditions. Up to 4 weeks earlier than American hybrids with fruits averaging 1kg with very high yields per plant.

A favourite early variety, with pointed heads of excellent flavour. The compact, pointed heads are produced quickly with few wasteful outer leaves so it can be grown more densely than other varieties.

Can be sown up until late July to produce a crop for cutting in October.

An early growing variety. Igloo be grown tightly spaced for quicker delicious crops of mini heads or given more space for mature sized heads.

Sown in February to April, the mature heads are ready for harvest around July.

The ultimate Kale variety originating from Tuscany, often referred to as Palm Kale or Black Tuscan Kale. A non-heading variety, the robust plants will produce rich, succulent, tasty, dark green leaves (pick them when they're young and tender) throughout the harshest winters.

A well known and favourite Italian vegetable.

Tender, sweet and prolific, this attractive and easy to grow Chard produces savoyed type leaves in different shades of green with bright stems in a palette of gold, crimson, pink, pink-and-white striped, purple, orange, scarlet, white and green.

Young leaves are suitable for salads.

Coriander (Coriandrum sativum) is an annual herb from the parsley family, valued for both its fresh, citrus-hinted leaves and its aromatic seeds. The foliage adds bright flavour to salads, salsas, and curries, while the seeds are widely used in baking, spice blends, and flavouring liqueurs.

One of the earliest F1 varieties delivering high yields of uniform shaped dark green glossy skinned fruits. Excellent disease resistance.

A fantastic ridge / glasshouse variety selected as an “All American Selection” winner. The slender glossy fruits are 15cm long, smooth, seedless and extremely sweet. These self-pollinating plants are prolific in production and can be ground grown as a ridge variety outdoors or trellised in a glasshouse.

Considered one of the gourmet varieties, these are a prolific producer defying the driest of summers, whilst remaining sugar sweet, stringless, and tender with medium length beans. Excellent and easy to deep freeze. Can be grown against a trellis, on poles or up netting and can be interplanted with peas or runner beans required little or no maintenance.  White seeded variety. A hard to find Golden globe variety producing roots with a most attractive bright golden-yellow colour, retained when cooked, of a delicious flavour.  Mature roots do not become fibrous and avoids the red bleeding / staining of normal varieties.

In addition the tops can be harvested and utilized as spinach throughout the season. Good resistance to bolting and stores well.

An excellent, very popular early variety with as the name suggests good resistance to bolting. The beets are a deep red with smooth skin and an intense sweet flavour. Young leaves can be used as baby leaves in mixed salads.

A Scottish Heirloom variety introduced in 1834, remaining one of the most popular and hardy varieties available today. A late variety which stands deep into winter and produces large, very thick stems with an excellent mild flavour.  Grows well in most locations.

Our favourite for mixed salad. Producing a delicious and colourful blend of salad greens and herbs. For a zesty alternative to everyday-salad and the standard variety for all good restaurants. (“mesclun” means “mixture”) Includes green and red cutting lettuce, Rocket, tatsoi, mizuna, Red Giant Mustard and Red Russian Kale. A great addition to liven up plain lettuce and a feast for the eyes and a gourmet treat.

One of the quickest and earliest varieties to mature. Little Gem produces small compact plants which are packed with a crisp sweet heart and little outside leaf.

Especially popular with chefs, this Italian favourite produces an abundance of bright dark flat green leaves of excellent strong flavour held well above the ground on 12 inch plants.  Can be grown on the windowsill or equally  in the garden for a continuous all year round crop.  Annual.

Gladiator F1 is British bred and was the first F1 parsnip variety. It delivers a fast maturing parsnip with consistent high quality flesh, silky-smooth white skin, very good disease resistance (especially canker) and a superb, sweet, crisp taste. Still considered one of the best for the allotment / domestic grower.

This is one of the most reliable pea varieties grown all over the country, as few varieties crop so well.  A tall pea capable of reaching 1.8m in height with long, thick pods containing 9-12 sweet tender peas of excellent flavour with very high yields. This is a late main crop variety which produces over a long period. Requires good strong support especially on exposed sites.  Usually ready 14-16 weeks after sowing.

Spinach Perpetual. A perfect alternative spinach crop to avoid the most common problem of bolting during summer for many varieties.  Rarely running to seed in its first season the variety performs well on dry ground .  Spinach Perpetual is succulent, prolific and very hardy, suitable for autumn and winter crops too.

Spinach Giant Winter. A fine, dark green leaved early maturing variety, large in size with a spreading rather than upright habit.  Extra large semi-savoyed lance-shaped leaves are cold-hardy, flavoursome and tender.  Best for late summer and autumn sowing for winter and spring use.  Will survive early winter unprotected, but best under a cloche or fleece during mid winter against the cold and winter birds.

The White Lisbon is traditionally the most popular Spring Onion for succession sowings and features long, white stems and bright green tops.

Delicious when young and takes on a more pungent flavour as the bulbs swell.

Can be used as a companion plant to deter carrot fly.

A very reliable Sugar enhanced variety “Incredible” delivers large 22cm (9in) cobs with excellent flavour on tall 8ft high plants.  Good tolerance to rust and crops well even in wetter British summers.

Sungold F1 is an indeterminate cherry tomato cultivar known for its exceptionally sweet flavour, often ranking among the highest on the Brix sweetness scale. As a reliable F1 hybrid, it produces long trusses of golden-orange fruit and performs well in both greenhouse and outdoor conditions.
