WILLOW CROSSLEY
£3.20
What could be more perfect than pansies reminiscent of sweet peas? This Pansy ‘Sweet Pea Mix’ mimics the shape and colour of sweet peas – lilacs, dusky pink, creams, and custard, with pretty petals that flick out like a flouncy skirt. Pick them for bud vases or to decorate puddings and cakes.
Sowing and Growing
Sow these early from February for flowers the same year or sow them in September for flowers the following year.
When the seedlings are about 2.5cm tall with 4 leaves, it is safe to harden them off gradually. When transplanting them, be careful not to disturb the roots. They can be in shade but thrive on a bit of sunshine.
Arranging
Adorable arranged with phlox or roses. They look good enough to eat, which you can also do.
