Tayberry ‘Medana’ is a delicious hybrid of raspberry and blackberry, yielding long fruits with an aromatic, sweet‑tart flavour. Ripening from early summer, it’s perfect for fresh eating, freezing or making jams and desserts.

Cultivation Advice
Key Facts

Choose a sunny position with well‑drained, fertile soil.
Remove all weeds and dig in plenty of well‑rotted manure or compost.
Space plants about 200 cm apart.
Dig a hole large enough to spread the roots, plant level with the soil surface, then firm in and water well.
Install a support such as wires, trellis or fence for the canes to grow on.
Mulch around the base each spring to suppress weeds and retain moisture.
After fruiting, cut out the old canes at ground level and train new growth for the next year.
