- Sow Feb-Apr or Aug or Nov-Dec.
- Sow seeds 5cm deep and 20cm apart in double rows spaced 25cm apart.
- Water as needed and germinate will occur in 10-21 days.
- Protect early sowings with fleece or cloches during cold weather.
- Water regularly, especially during flowering and when pods set.
- Harvest from May to July or Nov.
- Once cropping finishes, cut the plants at the base and leave the roots in the soil to fix nitrogen.
