Seed Tape ‘Beetroot Burpees Golden’

Beetroot ‘Burpees Golden’ produces bright golden-yellow roots that are smooth, tender, and retain their sweet flavour when cooked. The roots remain non-fibrous at maturity and avoid the red staining common in other varieties. The nutritious tops can also be harvested and enjoyed as spinach throughout the season.

With good resistance to bolting and excellent storage qualities, this variety is perfect for autumn and winter harvests. 

Seed tapes are the easiest way to sow vegetables, the seeds have been incorporated in a bio-degradable paper tape which ensures the correct spacing and minimises the need for thinning.  The seeds simply germinate through the tape in position.
