- Sow indoors between February-April on seed compost.
- Lightly cover and keep at a temperature of 15-20c.
- Germination will occur in 15-30 days.
- When large enough to handle, transplant into 8cm pots.
- Gradually acclimatise outdoors and plant out after the risk of frost has passed.
- Harvest the leaves throughout the summer by cutting small sprigs.
- To dry, cut the stems just as the flowers start to open and hang in small bunches.
- Harvest sparingly the first year.
