Giant Hyssop – AGASTACHE Mexicana ANISATA – White
A must have addition to any perennial border delivering a stunning display of 60-80cm high pure white bottle brush scented flower spikes from early summer to late autumn. Very popular with bees and pollinating insects. Best grown in moderately fertile, well-drained soil which is kept on the dry side.
Cultivation Advice Giant Hyssop – AGASTACHE Mexicana ANISATA – White
- Sow from early spring under cover with warmth on fine seed compost lightly covered.
- Germination averages 14-21 days @ 20C.
- When large enough to handle prick out to individual pots and grow on in coller conditions.
- Gradually acclimatise to outdoors conditions after all danger of frost has passed.
- Plant out at 30-40cm spacing.
