Crocus – Yalta Bulbs
A unique crocus with a layer of pale silver-violet petals surrounding the deeper violet inner petals. Best planted in groups they will divide and expand in clumps every spring onwards. Can be lifted and divided every 3-4 years to spread round the garden.
Cultivation advice Crocus – Yalta Bulbs
- Plant the bulbs 3-4″ deep and 2″ apart as soon as possible after receipt.
- Best in a well-drained, moist soil, will tolerate clay, sandy, loamy, chalk and peat type soils.
- Perform best in full sun or partial shade
- After flowering leave foliage under it yellows and dies back in order to replenish the bulbs for the following year.
Packaged in brown recyclable stapled bags, cleared labelled.
(If not planted immediately, open bag and spread somewhere cool and dry to prevent the bulbs sweating and rotting)
