Crocus Pickwick – Cultivation Advice
- Plant between September-October, before the ground freezes.
- If the soil is heavy clay, loosen it to a depth of around 10cm and mix in organic matter to improve the drainage and soil quality.
- Use a hand trowel or bulb planter and dig a hole which is around 2-3 times the depth of the bulb.
- Place the bulb with the pointed end facing upwards.
- Gently cover the bulb and lightly compress the soil.
(If not planted immediately, open bag and spread somewhere cool and dry to prevent the bulbs sweating and rotting)
