- Sow the seeds directly outdoors from April-June in a well-prepared seedbed.
- Sow the seeds thinly on the surface of the soil and lightly cover.
- Keep the soil consistently moist until seedlings emerge.
- Seeds will usually germinate within 10-21 days.
- Once seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them to 20-25 cm apart to allow space for growth.
- Choose a sunny, well-drained site for best growth and flowering.
- Water regularly during dry spells until established, but avoid waterlogging.
- Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continued blooming throughout the season.
