- Sow Apr – Sep, sparingly 1cm deep direct in finely raked, moist, weed free rich soil, with added organic matter.
- Germination 5 – 15 days at 13 to 24°C
- Best sown frequently in small amounts every 2-3 weeks.
- Thin once the seedlings at 10cm (4in) tall to 10 to 15cm (4 to 6in) apart for harvesting as young plants, for mature plants grow 30cm (12in) apart.
- Can be sown for a later crop under glass as it will tolerate some cold.
- Must be kept moist in warm weather as any stresses and  this variety will bolt very quickly.
