Growing Instructions

  1. Sow the seeds on moist soil at a depth of 6-12mm, 6-8 weeks before the last frost.
  2. Gently compress the soil and place it in a bright location, between 16-26c.
  3. Water as necessary and the seeds should germinate between 7-10 days.
  4. Once germinated, avoid watering for 7-10 days to improve root growth.
  5. After this, water thoroughly to improve head size
  6. Once 4-5 true leaves have developed, transplant the seedlings into their final growing position.
  7. Space the plants between 35cm apart with 40-45cm between rows.
  8. Harvest when the heads are 30-35cm in diameter (approx. 65-75 days from transplanting).
