- Sow in February/March indoors / heated undercover at 18-21C (65-70F) in fine seed compost just covering the seed with compost.
- Germination in 10-21 days.
- When large enough to handle, transplant 5cm (2in) apart in boxes or into 7.5cm (3in) pots and grow on in cooler conditions.
- Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions before planting outside after all risk of frost.
- Bested suited to full sun.
