- Plant from October onwards, throughout winter
- For Christmas blooms, plant by October
- Use a pot with drainage holes which is around 10-15cm deep
- Place the bulbs with half of the bulb just above the compost surface
- Water only if the compost dries out
- Avoid placing near direct heat sourced to extend flowering
- Cut the stem after flowering to encourage the plant to flower again
- Support as needed to prevent the stems from bending
