Garlic – Elephant

Elephant Garlic Bulbs (Allium ampeloprasum), can grow with adequate water to 140 mm in diameter and dwarfs your usual culinary garlic cloves in size.  In growth the foliage will be the size of your average leek.  The flavour is much milder than traditional garlic making it ideal for roasting or casseroles. Best planted  as early as possible Sep to Feb and harvested late Jun. Fully winter hardy.

Supplied as split bulbs (cloves) in plain paper bags. Clove weight as stated at the point of sorting / packaging.
