Allium ‘roseum’, also known as rosy garlic, produces loose clusters of light pink flowers held above slender stems. It naturalises quickly and is ideal for wildflower-style plantings and rockeries.

  • Once your bulbs arrive, take them out of their packaging and lay out in a box so they can breathe. 
  • Plant between September-November, before the ground freezes. 
  • Loosen the soil to a depth of around 30cm and mix in organic matter to improve the drainage and soil quality. 
  • Use a hand trowel or bulb planter and dig a hole which is around 4 times the depth of the bulb. 
  • Place the bulb with the pointed end facing upwards. 
  • Gently cover the bulb and lightly compress the soil.

• Choose a location that receives full sun, ideally at least six hours of direct sunlight daily.
