- Once your bulbs arrive, take them out of their packaging and lay out in a box so they can breathe.Â
- Plant between September-November, before the ground freezes.Â
- Loosen the soil to a depth of around 30cm and mix in organic matter to improve the drainage and soil quality.Â
- Use a hand trowel or bulb planter and dig a hole which is around 4 times the depth of the bulb.Â
- Place the bulb with the pointed end facing upwards.Â
- Gently cover the bulb and lightly compress the soil.Â
