Cristophii, also known as 'Star of Persia', produces sparkling blooms between May and June, filling borders and containers with impressive, clustered heads. Growing to 20cm wide, the blooms sit on 50cm tall stems and are highly attractive to pollinating insects.

Allium 'Purple Sensation' is a popular ornamental variety which is valued for its bold, vibrant colour and uniform growth habit. It produces spherical flower heads made up of over 50 star-shaped violet blooms, held above upright green foliage on strong stems.

This variety typically reaches a height of 70–90 cm and is most effective when planted in groups. It is fully hardy, returning reliably year on year and flowers in late spring to early summer making it suitable for borders, mixed plantings, and as a cut flower. This variety has won an Award of Garden Merit (AGM) for its reliability and good performance under UK growing conditions.

Allium 'sphaerocephalon' (also known as Drumsticks) produces distinctive, two-tone flower heads. The oval-shaped blooms emerge green and gradually turn a rich crimson purple from the top down, creating a striking two-tone effect as they develop.

Its narrow green leaves die back before the flowers appear in early summer, making it an ideal companion for low-growing perennials that can fill the space below. Reaching a height of around 60 cm, it is well suited to borders, containers, and also works well as a cut flower. This variety will naturalise and spread to give you more flowers each year.
