Tomato Cherry Baby Boomer F1
A determinate hybrid F1 bush variety with a strong vigorous growth habit. Suitable for growing in garden beds and also in large containers, 15 litres to 20 litres are ideal. Will produce up to 300 sweet and juicy 15 g cherry tomatoes per plant if well fed with plants reaching 50-65cm in height.
Cultivation advice Tomato Cherry Baby Boomer F1
- Sow under cover with warmth provided in spring 1/16 inch deep in fine seed compost and cover lightly with vermiculite.
- Germination takes around 6-14 days at 65-75F.
- Transplant the seedlings when large enough to handle into 3 inch pots. Grow on under cooler conditions and plant to container or soil when large enough to handle. Best kept growing under cover until the weather warms before gradually acclimatising them to outdoor conditions.
- This is a bush variety which will need some support or frame to support the branches and keep the fruit off the ground.
