Corn Chamomile (Anthemis arvensis) is a delicate wildflower with cheerful white daisy-like flowers and a fine foliage. Ideal for meadows, wildflower borders or naturalised areas, it attracts bees and other pollinators.

  1. Sow the seeds directly outdoors from August-April in a well-prepared seedbed.
  2. Sow the seeds thinly on the surface of the soil and lightly cover with a fine layer of compost or grit.
  3. Keep the soil consistently moist until seedlings emerge.
  4. Seeds will usually germinate within 10-21 days.
  5. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them to 20-25cm apart to allow room for growth.
  6. Choose a sunny, well-drained site for best growth and flowering.
  7. Water regularly during dry spells until established, but avoid waterlogging.
  8. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continued blooming.
  9. Plants may self-seed for the following season if some flowers are left to mature.
